Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value based education enabling development of their limitless potential.In Mumbai, Aseema works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai(MCGM). Colours of life is a non-profit organisation striving to uplift underprivileged children by helping government schools to transform themselves into institutes of excellence.
Drishti is partnering with the NGO Colours of Life based in Bangalore. This NGO has adopted 9 Municipal corporation schools; we are currently working with 2 of them. The purpose of this program is to improve English Language Proficiency of students studying in Kannada medium schools. This program is to be delivered using principles of “total physical response” (TPR).
St. Catherine’s of Sienna School and Orphanage is a Welfare Society for Destitute Children. It was started with the objective to educate destitute children irrespective of caste, creed, and community. They provide the children with free basic school education, a healthy home atmosphere, guide these children towards understanding the need for healthy living, and secure a place for them among the rest of the society.
Our team of psychologists conduct sessions on a monthly basis to educate the students (of ages 13 to 21) about the various professions the occupational field has to offer. The aim is to provide these children with the knowledge they need in order to make an informed decision all the career opportunities available to them.
TISS CIDCO Project
VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE PROGRAM (August 2014-March 2015): CIDCO Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project in collaboration with TISS and Drishti aimed in creating a new planned, self-sufficient and sustainable city. Purpose was to provide Employment through Vocational Training Programs, training for the Development of Entrepreneurship, Career Guidance and Placement Opportunities. Drishti played a vital role in providing Vocational Guidance and Counseling to the students and job seekers of these 10 villages and other PAP individuals.
SEN TRAINING PROGRAM: ADAPT, formerly The Spastics Society of India, has been one of the foremost non – profit organizations in the country, providing services including assessment, therapy, counseling, inclusive education, skills training and job placement for individuals with disabilities. Dr. Desai and the Training & Development team of DRISHTI has been a privileged part of their training programs and courses as guest faculty for the same.
SIES (South Indian Education Society) is a leading educational institution of this country with numerous eminent alumni who have led government, private sector as well as social organizations. SIES ICE under the aegis of the society offers training programs in teaching, special education and counselling. Training programs focus on skill development in ways that can support services to the community.
Drishti collaborates with SIES-ICE to offer an Online Certificate Course for mainstream school Teachers. This course focuses on information & processes required for mainstreaming Children with Special Education Needs (SEN) under Right to Education Act.

Healthcare Research Consortium @ IITB
The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, is proud to be one of the initiates of the Healthcare Research Consortium, a nation-wide platform for collaborative, interdisciplinary research between engineering and the life sciences.
